Nachdem die Inflation auf den Philippinen im Februar noch bei 3.4 % lag, stieg der Wert im März auf 3,7%.
Das liegt in erster Linie an erhöhten Lebensmittel- und Transportkosten. Letztere stiegen wegen den höheren Rohölpreisen auf dem Weltmarkt.
Die Inflation für Lebensmittel lag im Februar noch bei 4,6 % und erhöhte sich im März auf 5,6 %. Am höchsten liegt die Inflation beim Reis.
