Die Beziehungen der Philippinen zu den USA haben sich aktuell doch wieder wesentlich verbessert. So sagte der philippinische Präsident Duterte dem US Präsidenten Biden auf dessen Einladung zum Gipfel für Demokratie vom 9. bis 10. Dezember seine Teilnahme zu.
