Diese seltenen und unter Naturschutz stehenden Kalksteinfrösche wurden im Biak-na-Bato-Nationalpark in Bulacan in einer Höhle gesichtet. Wie der Exekutivdirektor von DENR-Central Luzon betonte, zeigt die Anwesenheit dieser Art die ökologische Bedeutung der Höhlen- und Kalksteinökosysteme dieser Region.
