Im ersten Quartal des nächsten Jahres wird das Projekt des Baus einer Brücke zwischen Davao und Samal starten. 2024 soll sie fertig sein. Die Kosten belaufen sich auf mehrere Milliarden Pesos. Für die für 25.000 Fahrzeuge am Tag ausgelegte Brücke werden viele Vorteile erwartet:
